What This Site Does
Texas public-record rules make many jail, court, and custody records available to the public, but the records are not kept in one place. In Brazoria County, the Sheriff's Office runs the local jail system for recent arrests, pretrial holds, county sentences, warrants, and people waiting on transfer. TDCJ runs a different locator for sentenced prisoners at units such as Clemens, Memorial, Ramsey, Stringfellow, and Terrell. BOP, ICE ODLS, and VINELink serve still other search needs.
Brazoria County Inmate Population is built as a private reference site for those separate lanes.
